Benjamin Almeda. Benjamin Almeda designed a food-processing machine. In 1954, Benjamin Almeda founded the Almeda Cottage Industry (now the Almedah Food Machineries Corporation) which manufactured his basic food processing inventions including his rice grinder, meat grinder and coconut grater.
