Alexandre Herchcovitch Fall 2011:
Braided to Perfection
Wave goodbye to the classic braid: plaits woven into place at the Alexandre Herchcovitch Fall 2011 show put a fresh twist on the timeless hairstyle. The collection showcased woven locks that may be hard to duplicate on your own, but are definitely worth the effort.
Models sat patiently backstage where they were worked on by not one, but two hairstylists at a time who tightly criss-crossed their 'dos into place. Creating a nice contrast against the monochromatic collection, texture and plaiting joined forces on the runway to showcase the braid at its finest.
With the loose side braid being all the rage for the Spring 2011 season, the fall looks to a more refined style with an intertwined side plait pinned into place.
